Hello
Hey y’all, I am so glad you are here! My name is Ashlyn Rockey, and I’m from a small town in Southern Colorado, where I grew up on my family’s potato and quinoa farm. If it’s connected to Colorado, rural communities, leadership, or agriculture – I’ve found my sweet spot, and I couldn’t shake that calling if I tried.

Life is more meaningful, fulfilling, and rewarding when it’s centered on serving others. My dedication to caring for people was shaped by watching my parents live out that value on our family’s farm. That same desire to serve grew when I was elected as the 2022–2023 Colorado FFA State Secretary, spending a year traveling more than 30,000 miles across the state to advocate for agriculture and empower FFA members. It continued in my role as Journal Clerk for Texas Tech University’s Student Government, and today, it extends into my work as Staff in Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

I am preparing to graduate from Texas Tech University’s Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources with a degree in agricultural leadership and political science. Driven by my love for service, passion for agriculture, and commitment to education, I am building a future in agricultural policy.
Along the way, I’ve been blessed with opportunities to mentor, lead, speak, and facilitate—impacting thousands of individuals as a keynote speaker and leading workshops and conferences to equip students, teams, and leaders across the agricultural industry.
At the end of the day, I love Jesus, cows, and Chick-fil-A, and I find joy in spending time with my family, friends, and community. Again, I am so glad you are here! If you have any questions, please let me know.
